Historical Hockey and Sports Memorabilia Auction Spring 2022
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 5/31/2022
One of very few players in history to join the prestigious Triple Gold Club, Henrik Zetterberg spent his entire career in Motor City, hoisting Lord Stanley’s hardware in 2008 while also earning the coveted Conn Smythe Trophy. Zetterberg would also make back-to-back appearances at the All-Star Game, in 2007 and 2008. Originating from the personal collection of NHL superstar and HOFer Ted Lindsay, we have a stick used by the Swedish superstar in the mid-to-late-2010s, circa 2015-17. A Warrior Dynasty model with “Zetterberg #40” factory graphics over the upper shaft, the stick sports the original white cloth over the handle, with the blade tape removed to facilitate the flawless silver marker signature added to the frontside blade. “Fla”, “2” and a circled “R” are also handwritten to the top of the knob (significance unknown). Showing light game-use with just a few marks to the shaft, an LOA from the Lindsay family will accompany.
