Forever immortalized as the first netminder to regularly don facial protection, Jacques Plante remains one of the greatest goaltenders in history, with his early passing in 1986 leaving a void for autograph collectors. Ideal for those searching for a superior exemplar, we have a gorgeous vintage 1950s postcard signed by the timeless legend. Depicted in his traditional low stance, the blank-backed black and white postcard has “Jacques Plante” at the base, along with French text that states “du Club Canadien de Montreal et representant special Molson” (Molson special representative). Plante has signed in blue ink, with the clear and bold autograph flawless. Adding considerably to the desirability, the postcard remains in high grade, with just light touches to the corners. A JSA LOA will accompany.
