Drafted into both the NHL and WHA in 1975, Stan Jonathan spent the majority of his NHL career in Boston, with a single season with Pittsburgh in 1982-83. From the earlier part of his career, we have a team-signed stick used by Jonathan with the Bruins in 1977-78, with the stick originating from the personal collection of Tom Johnson. A Koho 221 model with "Jonathan" stamped to the upper shaft, the original white ribbed tape is intact on the handle, with the blade tape possibly removed (the stick may have been used without tape to the blade, as shown in Getty Image #1272910412). The stick show nice use with wear to the underside blade including chipping, and marks to the shaft and near the heel. Approx 16 have signed one side of the shaft, including Jonathan, along with Gilbert, Cashman, Wensink, O'Reilly, Schmautz, McNab, Doak, Marcotte and a few others. An LOA from the Johnson Family will accompany.
