The hallowed halls that are home to the greatest names in hockey, the Hockey Hall of Fame is the crown jewel achievement for anyone involved in the game, with 293 players, 113 builders and 16 on-ice officials being enshrined. Commissioned in 2000 for that year’s induction ceremony is this lithograph by renowned artist Daniel Parry. Titled “2000 Inductees”, the piece displays the façade of the Great Hall in the middle with images of Joe Mullen and Denis Savard, the two inductees for 2000, encompassing the imagery of the building, with, both individuals shown hoisting Lord Stanley’s grail. Serial numbered “102/999” at the bottom right, fine pencil signatures from both Mullen and Savard are observed at the bottom of the piece along with the artist Parry and the President of the HOF, Jeffery D. Denomme, with all four signatures remaining legible. Matted under a mauve colour and outlined in black, the entirety of the piece is housed in a dark wooden frame that shows wear and dings throughout the edges and corners with full dimensions measuring 30 ¾” x 29 ¼”. A COA is affixed to the reverse side of the frame. Hailing from the personal collection of Brian Glennie, the piece comes accompanied by a signed Glennie family LOA.
