This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A Pittsburgh Penguins selection at the 1980 NHL Entry Draft, Tony Feltrin first played three seasons in the WHL with Victoria before making his NHL debut in 1980-81. The Ladysmith native would dress for a total of 38 games for the Pens throughout three seasons, and would later serve as a scout with the St Louis Blues. From his time in Pennsylvania, we have a Penguins jersey worn by Feltrin during the early-1980s - circa 1981-82 according to the accompanying LOA. SK and laundering labels are affixed to the collar, with the vintage durene sweater measuring-out to roughly a size 50, with an additional Sandow logo residing over the reverse hem. Featuring the team crest as well as “33” over the sleeves and verso completely rubberized, “Feltrin” is sewn to the affixed nameplate in layered tackle twill. The jersey also sports a loop-style fight strap. Just light game-use is visible on the garment including a few paint transfer marks to the upper right sleeve. A detailed LOA will accompany.
