Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Spending seasons with the Prince Edward Island Rocket and Wheeling Nailers, Patrick McGrath also saw action in parts of four seasons with Pittsburgh’s farm club, the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins, and we offer a Pittsburgh Penguins jersey worn by McGrath during the 2014-15 preseason, specifically on September 13, 2014 vs Ottawa (Rookie Tournament, taking place in London, Ont), with JerseyTRAK documents included that list the aforementioned game the jersey was worn-in. A label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crest gracing the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a Penguins team crest that features embroidered detailing, “67” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “McGrath” across the affixed nameplate in matching material. The Pens equipment manager Dana Heinze has also signed the fight strap. Worn for just the single contest, no game-wear is visible. The “Set 1” team patch resides on the inside hem, with a team COA to accompany along with the aforementioned JerseyTRAK documents.
