Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A two-time James Norris winner considered by many to be one of the greatest blueliners in the game today, Erik Karlsson spent his first nine NHL seasons in the nation’s capital with the Senators before being traded to San Jose in September of 2018. This signed stick was used by the superstar during his rookie era with Ottawa, with this specific type of model seeing use during his first two seasons, in 2009-10 and 2010-11. An Easton S19 model with “Karlsson” and “65” factory graphics, the original red cloth wrap is on the handle, with the blade tape removed. Showing great game-use with numerous surface abrasions and chips to the shaft as well as wear to the blade and heel section, the blade tape was removed to allow Karlsson to add a large silver paint pen signature across the front side blade. An LOA will accompany.
