Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

NHL recordholder Henri Richard and his coveted Parkhurst rookie card appear here, with the 11-time Stanley Cup champion in his third big-league season when cards like this were discovered in packs of 1957-58 Parkies. The Pocket Rocket was already, like part of the write-up on the back informs, "considered one of the League's top centres and certainly one of the most mature "thinking players" in hockey today." The late great Richard (d.2020) autographed the front of card #4 in bold black marker, adding his famous number "16" and the signature has been PSA/DNA certified. We cannot detect any creases and see the card as a VG-EX example, with wear at the four corners. Please note though that the card itself is not PSA-graded and because minuscule grade-lowering flaws are sometimes not visible through PSA holders, no returns will be accepted with regards to condition details. PSA statistics reveal that just five other autographed Richard RCs join this Pop 6 as the only ones ever certified and encapsulated by the company since its inception. Some light scratches to the front of the holder are to mention, along with "this will be a fantastic addition to your encapsulated rookie card/autograph/Richard collection."
