One of the original founding members of the WHA as the Miami Screaming Eagles, and first debuting in Philadelphia for one season after relocating from Miami due to financial problems, the Vancouver Blazers enjoyed a pair of seasons in the rebel league before again relocating to Calgary for the 1975-76 season. This lot includes a program and pennant team-signed by the 1973-74 Blazers, accompanied by a Manitoba Oldtimers program from 1980 multi-signed including by HOFers Bill Mosienko and Maurice and Henri Richard. First, the pennant is 29” in length with intact but worn tassels, with 19 signing in mixed inks including Don O'Donoghue, Claude St. Sauveur, Ron Plumb, Irv Spencer, Ron Wood, Colin Campbell, Rychard Campeau, Mike Chernoff, Don Burgess, John McKenzie, Jim Cardiff, Pete Donnelly, Dave Hutchison, Yves Archambault, Jim Adair and a few others, with heavy wear to the pennant including creases. The program hails from a match vs LA, with 16 signing – mostly on the cover in mixed inks including Ron Wood, Claude St. Sauveur, Irv Spencer, Don O'Donoghue, Colin Campbell, Mike Chernoff, Don Burgess, Rychard Campeau, Pete Donnelly, Yves Archambault, Danny Lawson, Jim Adair and a few others. The program also shows heavy wear. The oldtimers program has a detached cover and heavy wear, with 14 signing throughout the interior including the Richards and Mosienko, with the signatures quick ballpoint examples.
