A University of Wisconsin alum, spending four seasons with the Badgers, Davis Drewiske enjoyed parts of five seasons with the Los Angeles Kings along with a lone season in Montreal. From his time with the Habs’ affiliate Hamilton Bulldogs, we have a Canadiens jersey worn by Drewiske in the 2014-15 NHL pre-season. Not appearing in any regular-season games for the Canadiens in 2014-15, the jersey sports size "56" tagging along the collar with handwritten “1”, with embroidered NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the famous and sacred CH team crest, the red V-neck has been accented with dual-colour tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Drewiske” across the nameplate in single blue twill. The jersey also sports the Jean Beliveau memorial patch over the right breast, and we should note that it was added later, as the legendary superstar passed on Dec 2, 2014, with no memorial patches originally on the Canadiens 2014-15 Set 1 jerseys. Game-wear is light and includes a few faint board burns on the lower right sleeve, along with a small mark on the striping band. The team patch numbered “A03563” sits on the inside hem, while a hologram numbered “GU09235” affixed to the second reverse “4” matches the accompanying LOA from the Canadiens (the LOA incorrectly states “prepared”, but the jersey was worn in the pre-season as mentioned).
