Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Named ACC Freshman of the Year with North Carolina, Michael Jordan was selected by consensus to the NCAA All-American First Team in both his sophomore (1983) and junior (1984) seasons. Jordan would show his clutch prowess early, scoring the game-winning jump shot in the 1982 NCAA Championship game against Georgetown, with the winner replicated in the 1998 NBA finals with the Bulls. This framed “Champion Shots” print has been signed by the six-time NBA champion. At approx 18” x 28” and featuring dual-images of each championship shot, Jordan’s “23” in twill letters has been mounted to give a three-dimensional affect, with the superstar signing over the “2” in black marker, with the signature displaying well. Set in a shadow box display to full dimensions of approx 23 ½” x 33 ½”, there is some wear to the frame to note. Holograms have been affixed including an example from Upper Deck that will be accompanied by a matching COA.
