This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Recruited by Bear Bryant and a legend at Notre Dame, Paul Hornung spent his entire career with Green Bay, winning four NFL championships along with MVP honours, in 1961. The Golden Boy – so nicknamed for his flowing blond locks, was elected to the College Football Hall of Fame in 1985 and the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1986, and passed away at the age of 84 in 2020. This football has been signed by the legendary superstar. A Wilson “The Duke” model with dark finish, Hornung has signed within an empty panel in silver paint pen, adding “HOF 86”, with the large autograph displaying wonderfully. A hologram has been affixed, with a matching COA to accompany that mentions that the ball was signed in 2004.
