Horse racing legend Ron Turcotte has signed this sensational framed photo of 1973 Triple Crown winner Secretariat. From the personal collection of Peter Mahovlich, this stunning piece features an image frozen in time, with the great Canadian jockey crouched in his blue-and-white checkered silks astride the legendary horse as he leads him to victory. Turcotte has signed in bold blue marker on the upper left of this wonderful 11x14 color photo, which is bordered by a blue and white double matte. Plaque on the bottom of the framed display reads, “Secretariat, 1973 Triple Crown Winner, Jockey: Ron Turcotte”, which says it all! Mounted in a lovely 20x24 wood frame featuring nice detailing on the inner edge, this treasured memento of one of the most legendary Triple Crown wins comes with Peter Mahovlich’s signed LOA.
A statue in Turcotte’s hometown of Grand Falls, New Brunswick, immortalizes the native son’s 1973 Triple Crown win aboard Secretariat.
