Selected as the “Best NHL Player” who provided the “Best Championship Performance” by ESPY, netminder Tim Thomas registered one of the greatest campaigns for modern keepers during the Stanley Cup championship season of 2010-11. Receiving NHL First All-Star Team selection for a second time, Thomas would also win the Vezina and Conn Smythe – the oldest player to be honoured and one of only four Americans to win the prestigious award – and we offer a photo-matched glove from the season worn by the star. A Vaughn Epic model in solid white with black accents, “Thomas” is embroidered, with great game-use exhibited which includes numerous puck marks covering the pocket and wrist guard. Getty Images #111338287 (March 31, 2011) and #111545904 (April 4, 2011) have both been matched to numerous marks over the wrist guard and base of the pocket. We should also note that Thomas wore a matching-style glove throughout the 2011 playoffs including the Stanley Cup finals. An inventory label presumably from the Bruins that lists Thomas along with the particulars has been affixed to glove (removable), with Kay Whitmore also initialing in his capacity as goaltending supervisor of the NHL. Hailing from his personal collection, a signed LOA from Tim Thomas will accompany.
