A standout in the Q with Shawinigan, Samuel Girard was drafted by Nashville and spent his first five NHL games in a Predators sweater before being dealt along with Vladislav Kamenev and a 2018 second round pick to Colorado. This stick was used by the 2016 Emile Bouchard Trophy winner during the 2019-20 season with the Avalanche, with this specific type of model seeing use during the earlier part of the season. A CCM Ribcore model with “Girard” factory graphics, the original black tape is in place over the blade along with a white ribbed pattern on the handle/knob, with a single rounded strand circling the shaft. A decal has been added to the lower shaft that sports an Aves logo with “Game Used Season 2019-20”, with the stick sporting just light use, with wear to the taped section of blade and marks to the lower shaft.
