Drafted by Nashville in 2016 and only playing in 5 games with the club before being traded to Colorado, Sam Girard has scored over 100 points for the Avalanche since arriving in Denver in November of 2017. This helmet was worn by Girard with the Aves during the 2020-21 Stanley Cup playoffs. A CCM model with Oakley visor, “Ball” decals grace each side, with “49” over the forehead and lower reverse, with a Stanley Cup playoffs sticker added to the lower right reverse and “PL” sticker over the lower left. Exhibiting light wear with a few scratches and marks visible, images show Girard using this exact matching type model during the postseason including the slightly raised position of the visor, but with black bolts over the forehead opposed to the silver bolts on the offered specimen.
