The first-overall selection at the 2012 NHL Entry Draft, Nail Yakupov spent his first four NHL seasons with Edmonton followed by single-season stints with St Louis and Colorado. The star winger is currently playing in Russia with Avangard Omsk. From his third season in Alberta, we have a signed and photo-matched helmet worn by the Yak Attack in 2014-15. A royal blue Warrior model with Oakley visor worn for home games, Oilers decals grace each side, with “10” over the forehead and lower reverse, with an NHL decal also positioned on the lower right reverse. Sporting nice game-use with scratches over the surface along with a few dark marks, a sticker with “Nail Yakupov” has been affixed to the interior along with a second label that is attached to the chin strap. Getty Image #468866902 (April 7, 2015) has been matched to the four different black marks visible over the right side of the helmet just above the visor, with the dark mark over the forehead near the base of the "1" of "10" also visible, while Getty Image #845746708 (March 21, 2015) has been matched to the dark mark over the forehead near the base of the "1" of "10", with the additional dark marks near the lower edge of the helmet on the right front also showing. Yakupov placed a large silver paint pen signature over the top that displays well, with a matching LOA to accompany from the Oilers.
