Peter Mahovlich was in the midst of his second straight 100-point season with the Montreal Canadiens when he put on a show at the 1976 NHL All-Star Game. Offered from Pete’s personal collection are a program and a ticket from the 29th ASG played at the Spectrum in Philadelphia on January 20, 1976. Mahovlich, who set a Habs record that still stands with 82 assists in his 117-point season in 1974-75, won 1976 ASG MVP honors with a four-point effort (one goal, three assists) to help lead the Wales Conference All-Stars to a 7-5 win against the Campbell All-Stars. The 1976 All-Star Game program fills its 88 pages with great writing and art that includes the color logos of all 18 NHL teams competing in the 1975-76 season on the cover. This issue is complete and very nicely preserved. The 1976 NHL All-Star Game ticket stub with a face value of $10.50 measures 4 ?” x 2” and displays Philadelphia’s Liberty Bell American Bicentennial logo. Nicely preserved with two vertical pen marks on the bottom left and a small crease on the upper left corner. Comes with Peter Mahovlich’s signed LOA.
