A Calder Memorial nominee while leading all rookies in scoring during his inaugural NHL season in 2002-03, Henrik Zetterberg spent his entire career in Detroit, and enjoyed arguably his best season in 2007-08. Scoring a career-high 92 points including 43 goals, the Red Wings would win the Stanley Cup, with Zetterberg crowned MVP – his only Conn Smythe win. This photo-matched Red Wings jersey was worn by the star Swede in 2007-08. A CCM label with “54” sizing is affixed to the collar along with a sale tag from the team store ($2,000.00), with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the attractive winged-wheel team crest borrowed from the famous Montreal AAA, the solid white V-neck has been accented with single-twill sleeve and verso numbers, with “Zetterberg” arching over the upper reverse in matching material. The team patch resides on the inside hem, and it denotes the garment as a “1st Set” example. A Hockeytown hologram numbered “44980” has also been attached to the collar, with a matching COA to accompany.
Great game-use is present on the desirable garment, with marks and material pulls over the front, with a few spots of red paint transfer just above the team crest. There is also very light pilling. Getty Image #77657972 (Oct 12, 2007) has been matched to the dark spot on the lower front hem and the tiny mark beside it, while Getty Image #77848625(Nov 11, 2007) has been matched to the long loose white string on the right edge of the "4" on the right sleeve.
