The greatest defenseman to ever lace up the skates, Boston Bruins great Bobby Orr was a contemporary of Peter Mahovlich and teammate with Team Canada 1976, the inaugural Canada Cup champions. Four items autographed by Orr are featured in this lot from Pete’s personal collection, including three signed hockey sticks and a signed baseball cap. Orr placed a bold silver paint pen under the black brim of a black ballcap with “Bobby Orr 4 Hall of Fame” in raised gold embroidered stitching on the front.
The three Orr-signed hockey sticks are:
A Bauer Supreme One.4 composite stick signed by Bobby across the bare blade in bold silver paint pen, which comes with an unsigned Bobby Orr 4 Hall of Fame puck;
A Bobby Orr Hall of Fame Parry Sound, Ontario wood hockey stick with yellow, white and black tape bands high and low on the shaft that Bobby signed in bold silver paint pen across its bare blade;
And a righthanded Bauer Vapor X600 composite stick that Bobby signed in bold silver paint pen across the bare blade, which also comes with an unsigned Bobby Orr 4 Hall of Fame puck.
Also included are a Bobby Orr 4 hooded sweatshirt with “‘47” and size XXL tagging in the neck and a size XXL hockey-jersey style sweater with an Orr 4 NHL-style crest on the front with a “50 66/16” logo marking 50 years since he became a pro hockey player with the Bruins. Causeway Collection Old Time Hockey tagging in the tie-neck with an “A” on the left breast and “Orr” and his iconic No. 4 on the back, all in Bruins colors.
Comes with Pete Mahovlich’s signed LOA.
