Attending the University of New Hampshire for four years, Chris Pryor went undrafted and made his NHL debut for the Minnesota North Stars in 1984-85. From his second season with the club, we have a North Stars jersey worn by Pryor in 1985-86, where he appeared in 7 regular-season games. Steichens labeling with “85-86” handwritten is affixed to the collar, with the jersey measuring-out to a size 54, with Steichens and CCM* crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the classic North Stars pointed-N team crest, “36” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in drop-shadow tackle twill, with “Pryor” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The jersey also sports a tie-up fight strap. The nameplate was hastily affixed – with this likely done to get Pryor a quick jersey upon his arrival with the club. Exhibiting light use with no obtrusive marks, there is a team repair on the front band, with a second repair resulting from a burn mark near the right elbow.
