Despite making his NHL debut as a 28-year-old in 2002-03, Tim Thomas registered an especially impressive career which included winning the Vezina (2), Conn Smythe, William Jennings and Stanley Cup all within parts of just 9 NHL seasons. From his final NHL campaign that witnessed 40 regular-season games for the Florida Panthers in 2013-14 followed by 9 games for the Dallas Stars including a single playoff match, we have a mask worn by the Michigan native, photo-matched to his time with both Florida and Dallas. A Sportmask model with Bauer RE-AKT cage made by Tony Priolo with his initials and “Made for Tim Thomas Florida Panthers 2014” handwritten to the interior, the painter Steve Nash for Eyecandyair has also signed over a company sticker. Featuring a black and red panther design with this replicated over the backplate, the cage was changed at some point, with extra holes added to the mask to affix the cage. Sporting light wear with a few scratches and marks over the top section, we should also note that the mask was worn for just a few games with the Panthers and four games with the Dallas Stars (March 8, 2014 to March 16, 2014). A signed LOA from Tim Thomas will accompany along with a Sportmask carry/storage bag.

Lastly, Getty Images #476680471, #476685441 and #477008243 from March 4, 2014 (FINAL GAME FOR THE FLORIDA PANTHERS) show Thomas wearing this helmet (he was traded to Dallas on March 5, 2014).
