Posting an impressive .915 save percentage spread over 43 regular-season games, the 2009-10 NHL campaign was the fourth full season for Tim Thomas in Beantown, with the Michigan native also serving as backup for the US at the Winter Olympics that season. Hailing directly from his personal collection, we have a blocker and glove combo that were used by Thomas in 2009-10, photo-matched to both the regular season and Winter Classic. Bauer Vapor models in Bruins colours with “Thomas TT1” embroidered to the glove and “Thomas TT3” to the blocker. Inventory labels presumably from the Bruins that list Thomas along with the particulars have been affixed to both items (removable), with the pair showing great game-use, with puck marks littering the surfaces of each. A signed LOA from Tim Thomas will accompany.
Getty Image #95924154 (Jan 15, 2010 – REGULAR SEASON) has been matched to numerous dark marks on the face of the blocker as well as the thumb guard, with this repeated with the glove, with a number of marks matching, including the dark mark directly above the middle of the "AU" of "BAUER" and the small pattern of marks within the white section of the upper left corner of the wrist pad. Additionally, Getty Image #95523148 (Jan 1, 2010 Winter Classic) has been matched to numerous dark marks on the face of the blocker as well as the thumb guard, with marks on the glove matching as well, including the dark mark directly above the middle of the "AU" of "BAUER", while Getty Image #95521908 (Jan 1, 2010 Winter Classic) has been matched to a number of matching dark marks on both the blocker and glove.
