Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

From Upper Deck’s 2016-17 Trilogy product come these two charismatic offerings which feature The Great One’s silver ink autographs – superb. A shot of a young Wayne Gretzky with the Oilers appears above his signature on a Tryptichs card that is graded NM-MT 8 by PSA, with the “AUTO. JERSEY” on the label an error (there’s no piece of a jersey(!)) and the card, serial-numbered “06/20” on the back, is the only such card ever encapsulated by PSA, meaning a Pop 1 with none higher. Graded MINT 9 is a Trilogy Hall of Fame Signature Pucks card, with a smiling Gretz in a black suit at his Hall of Fame induction ceremony and the autographed puck-like piece to the right making for an attractive production. It too is a one-of-one in PSA annals, offering additional bragging rights, with no scratches detected in either of the PSA holders.
