Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
The penmanship of Patrik Laine is featured on these limited-edition Upper Deck productions, issued during the winger’s initial (2016-17) NHL campaign when he wowed fans with his deft scoring touch. Hand-numbered “01/25” on the front and including a type of Winnipeg Jets insignia, along with a blue ink autograph is a nifty Black Diamond Rookie Team Logo Jumbos Patch card that is graded EX-MT 6 by PSA, (the only such card ever encapsulated by the firm), while the letter “I” is signed on an SP Game Used Draft Day Marks card serial-numbered “23/35”. It received a mark of NM 7 (Pop 1 with 0 higher), with the lot completed by an Upper Deck Artifacts Rookie Relic (Silver) Redemption affair that includes two jersey swatches, along with Laine’s signature. Serial-numbered “020/125” and slabbed MINT 9, it too is the only such example ever encapsulated by PSA and thus, again a Pop 1 with none higher. A small insignificant scratch in the holder of the team logo patch card is all that we can detect with regards to the holders.
