Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A fierce competitor, enjoying a lengthy feud with fellow superstar Maurice Richard that continued for years with the pair not talking, Ted Lindsay related numerous times that something once told to him by the Rocket moved him deeply, and he never shared that exchange publicly. This lot offers a Detroit Red Wings jersey signed by the 1966 HOF inductee. A CCM “Vintage” model with “L” sizing affixed to the collar, a tackle twill team crest and numbers have been utilized, with “Lindsay” sewn to the upper reverse in single white twill. Placing a blue marker signature to the reverse "7", Terrible Ted added his induction year, with the signature bleeding into the material slightly. A hologram has been affixed, with a COA to accompany.
