Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
With $1 coins replacing the almighty paper dollar in Canada over three decades ago, collectors clamoring for the larger and more aesthetically pleasing notes have been left with few options. Designed to quell that currency appetite – if even for just 40 bucks – we have a desirable uncirculated uncut sheet of 40 $1 bills. Available only by special order directly through the Bank of Canada at a premium and never available through the regular banking system, the 22” x 30” sheet features 40 1973 $1 Canadian paper bills with “BFL” prefixes. Sporting just light handling wear to the sheet with no damage or marks, it will be shipped rolled in the original Bank of Canada tube to the winning bidder and is ideal to frame.
