Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/27/2021
One of the most coveted hockey cards of the postwar era, of any era actually, is offered here and is perfect for those of you who still enjoy feeling cardboard, as opposed to acrylic holders. We can inform of a Bobby Orr rookie card that measures correctly, that has not been trimmed or altered and that won’t have you mortgaging anything. Multiple creases are obvious, as are the rounded/worn corners but no paper loss is observed, with no holes, writing or pinholes either. An original 1966-67 Bobby Orr Topps rookie card awaits your Orr/RC/’66-67 Topps collection – we’ve seen much less attractive Poor examples than this. We’ve always been fond of how the bang-on write-up on the back of famous card #35 concludes: “A rushing defenceman who can set up goals as well as score them.”
