Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena – formerly known as the Air Canada Centre – was constructed in the late-1990s, with groundbreaking taking place in March of 1997. The Toronto Raptors played their first game at the newly constructed venue on Feb 21, 1999, the night after the initial Maple Leafs game occurred, and we offer a framed panoramic poster of the opening game signed by Vince Carter. At approx 10” x 28” and sporting white borders, the poster has “Air Canada Centre Opening Night – February 21, 1999” along the base. Carter has signed over the upper left in silver, with no issues for the signature. Matted and framed to full dimensions of approx 17 ½” x 35, the poster appears in beautiful condition, with just light wear to the frame.
