Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
A first-round draft choice of Detroit in 2013, Anthony Mantha signed a three-year entry-level contract with the Red Wings, and made his NHL debut with the club in March of 2016. From his first full season in Motor City, we have a stick used by Mantha in 2016-17. A CCM RBZ Revolution model with “Mantha” factory graphics, there is a bar code and serial number on the underside of the shaft, with the original white tape over the blade and ribbed-pattern red cloth with reinforcing white strand and “39” handwritten to the handle (“1” is written on the top of the knob). Just light game-use is exhibited on the composite, with a bit of wear to the blade and marks to the lower shaft and heel. Mantha would score 36 points with Detroit in 2016-17.
