A member of two Stanley Cup championship squads in just four seasons, Brett Hull capped-off his Hall of Fame career as one of the game’s all-time greatest scorers with 741 goals and almost 1,400 points. From his time with Dallas in the late-1990s/early-2000s, we have a pair of signed and photo-matched gloves worn by the 1991 Hart Memorial winner. Easton models in solid black with green identifiers, “2” has been handwritten in silver paint pen and appears worn near each palm, with the Golden Brett adding attractive signatures over the reverse fingers in matching silver ink (each signature shows small areas of smudging). The pair exhibit great game-use, with wear to the material including rubbing to the leather is spots, with additional wear over each darkened palm. Getty Image #653354 (Dec 8, 2000) has been matched to the distinct silver dot and its exact placement on the back of the fingers on the left glove, with a small mark to the material just above the wrist guard also visible. Additionally, the handwritten "2" near the palm of the right glove perfectly matches including the distinct shape. We should further note that the accompanying LOA incorrectly states use during the Stanley Cup championship season of 1998-99, with the “16 is written on the outside of both gloves” also incorrect.
