Winning a gold medal with Sweden at the 2006 Winter Olympics in Turin, Samuel Pahlsson was drafted by Colorado and made his NHL debut for Boston after numerous seasons with Modo Hockey. This Chicago Black Hawks jersey was worn by the 2007 Stanley Cup winner in his lone season in Illinois, in 2008-09, where he appeared in 13 regular-season contests as well as 17 playoff matches. A CCM label with “56” sizing and handwritten “2” (second set) sits affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests on the front and back necklines respectively. Styled with the classic partially chain-stitched Indian head team crest, “26” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with matching tomahawk crests over each shoulder. Sporting just light game-use with a few small random marks visible, the team patch is affixed to the inside hem. We should also note that according to our consignor, the jersey was purchased at a Black Hawks convention.
