Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

A first-round draft selection of the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2001, Carlo Colaiacovo dressed for five different NHL clubs and concluded his career in Germany. From his second of four seasons in Missouri, we have a St Louis Blues jersey worn by the Toronto native in 2009-10, specifically from September 15, 2009, to and including December 18, 2009 - according to the accompanying COA. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with NHL and Reebok crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with the classic blue note team crest administered in layered tackle twill, “28” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in matching material, with “Colaiacovo” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Sporting good game-use with a few burn marks and team repairs over each sleeve, Getty Image #93359008 (Nov 23, 2009) appears to show the repair on the upper right sleeve, with the material bunched-up, but the image isn’t clear enough to be deemed a photo-match. The “Set 1” team patch and Blue Note Authentic crest appear on the inside hem and above, with a COA from the Blues to accompany.
