Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Selected by the Winnipeg Jets in 1988, goaltender Stephane Beauregard spent parts of four seasons in River City before 16 games with the Philadelphia Flyers in 1992-93, and we offer a practice jersey worn by the Cowansville native during his lone season with the single-year IHL San Francisco Spiders in 1995-96. Featuring an OT Sports label and “XXL” size tag affixed to the collar, the team crest and graphics have been sublimated, with “30” sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill and “Beauregard” in matching material over the two-piece nameplate. Advertising also appears rubberized on the reverse including from JC Penney. Worn in practices, the cuffs have been customized and "opened”, with just light overall wear present including pilling along the collar. Beauregard would earn the James Gatschene Memorial Trophy as the regular-season’s most valuable player in 1995-96.
