Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

The National Colored Base Ball League; organized strictly as a minor league in the late nineteenth century, was the first to feature African-Americans, and failed shortly after forming due to low attendance. The term “Negro Leagues” historically refers broadly to professional black teams, and we offer a collection of Negro League replica jerseys totaling six. Included, we have examples for the New York Cubans (2 different, one by Bornagain Goods, the other, Negro League Baseball), Baltimore Elite Giants (Legendary Classics), Boston Black Bees (Bornagain Goods), Zulu Cannibal Giants (Bornagain Goods, with “1937” patch) and Ethiopian Clowns (Bornagain Goods). Each jersey sports felt or tackle twill team crests, with point-of-sale tags still attached to each, with the group showing just light handling wear. These replica jerseys would form a stunning display.
