This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Winning his fourth and final Stanley Cup championship with the Pittsburgh Penguins in 1990-91, Paul Coffey contributed an especially impressive 103 points throughout the regular season, with 11 more added during the playoffs. From the 1990-91 Stanley Cup championship season, we have a dual-signed stick used by the superstar blueliner. The Sher-Wood PMP 5030 model has “Coffey 77” factory graphics over both the top and underside of the shaft, with the NHL striping accent intact. The original white tape on the blade appears to be missing a few strands, with the black tape over the handle and knob intact. Coffey has signed the heel in black marker, with a second signature with “91” added to the remaining blade tape. There is also an illegible date stamp that appears to possibly read “? Oct 90”. light game-use is exhibited, with some wear to the blade, shaft and taped handle.
