Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Scoring 385 points for the Buffalo Sabres in just 342 games, Dale Hawerchuk enjoyed his best campaign with the club in 1991-92, netting just two points short of the 100 mark, and we offer photo-matched gloves worn by the superstar that season, accompanied by Philadelphia Flyers uniform socks worn with the club (1995-97). Louisville TPS models with matching “10” handwritten and faded within each interior, the gloves show great game-use with heavy rubbing to the leather in areas, with some minor blue staining to each and spotting to the interiors. Each glove has been re-palmed by the team and is completely matching in style, with the pair most likely worn together despite a photo-match of just the left glove. Getty Image #72528055 (Nov 22, 1991) has been matched to the big red paint transfer mark in the "LO" of “LOUISVILLE” on the wrist protector. The Flyers uniform socks are in solid orange with black and white striping bands, with use visible and team repairs to each.
