Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

A steal as the 210th overall selection at the 1999 NHL Entry Draft, Henrik Zetterberg spent his entire NHL career in Motor City, winning a Conn Smythe while being crowned a Stanley Cup champion in 2008. We have a stick used by the Swedish star in the late-2000s, with this specific type of model seeing use in 2008-09 and 2009-10. An Easton SE16 model in Motown red with silver and black accents and identifiers, “Zetterberg” (covered by the handle tape) and “40” factory graphics appear over the upper shaft, with the original black tape on the blade (a few strands are missing) and somewhat sticky red cloth wrap on the handle. Henrik has signed the front side toe in silver, with the signature standing out beautifully against the dark background. Moderate to heavier game-use is exhibited on the composite, with wear, marks and minor surface chips to the blade and heel section, with additional wear to the shaft and taped handle.
