This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
First spending a pair of seasons in the OHL with Sarnia, Alexander Buturlin was drafted by Montreal in 1999 but played his entire career in his native Russia. This Canadiens jersey was issued to Buturlin for training camp and/or pre-season use in 1999-00. Pro Player and size “56” labels are affixed to the collar, with Pro Player and NHL crests over the reverse hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “53” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Buturlin” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. The NHL 2000 crest is absent from the jersey. Issued but never worn, there is some light staining beneath the front right shoulder. An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
