Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Originally seeing pre-season and/or training camp use during the late-1990s, this Montreal Canadiens jersey was used by an unknown prospect named “Fritz”. Originating from the Habs’ 1997-98 set, a Starter label is sewn to the collar with embroidered Starter and NHL crests over the reverse hem, with a size swatch of “58-R” affixed to the inside hem. Styled with the most famous team crest in hockey, “53” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in layered tackle twill, with “Fritz” across the affixed nameplate in single white twill. Sporting just very light game-use, there are a few faint marks on the lower right sleeve. An LOA from the Montreal Canadiens will accompany.
