A master at putting the puck in the net during extended play, with 15 career regular-season overtime goals, Ilya Kovalchuk has spent considerable time in both the NHL and KHL, and has represented Russia at every possible international level. From his first of two seasons in Los Angeles, we have a photo-matched Kings jersey worn by the Kalinin native in 2018-19. “54” sizing appears along the Adidas collar band, with NHL and Adidas crests over the front and reverse necklines respectively. Styled with a partially-embroidered “LA” shield crest, “17” is sewn to the sleeves and verso in tackle twill numerals with silver textured trim, with “Kovalcuk” across the upper reverse in single black twill. Sporting light use, there are a few random marks and fabric pulls, with small material-backed team repairs on each lower sleeve. The team patch resides on the inside hem with “Tailored exclusively for Ilya Kovalchuk”, with a COA from the Kings to accompany.
Getty Image #1135449393 (March 9, 2019) has been matched to the small fabric pull to the left the black striping band near "17" on the left sleeve, with the extended black thread at the right side of the "O" of "KOVALCHUK" across the nameplate also matching. Additionally, Getty Image #1135449547 (March 9, 2019) has been matched to the extended white thread visible beneath the black striping band directly at the sleeve/shoulder seam.
