Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Purchasing a 10% stake in the Phoenix Coyotes after his retirement in 2000, Wayne Gretzky first served as alternate governor, managing partner and head of hockey operations with the club before taking on coaching responsibilities, in 2005. Honouring his time with the Coyotes organization, this framed Phoenix jersey has been signed by the iconic legend. A CCM model mounted with the reverse of the jersey showing including Wayne’s famous “99”, Wayne has signed within the first “9” in white, with the attractive signature blending into the background material somewhat. A name plaque and pins have been inserted beneath. Framed to full dimensions of approx 34 ½” x 42 ½”, an LOA from Shawn Chaulk will accompany, and please take note that due to the item’s size and/or weight, shipping costs may be substantial.
