Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

Reminiscent of nifty “foldee” issues from the previous decade are these 1976 Topps Mad-Ad Foldees, offered in unopened form – cool. The shrink-wrap of Baseball Card Exchange now seals one box that features 36 packs, with a BBCE label identifying/certifying its contents as unopened affixed to the underside, where a company hologram also appears. The scarce piece has three nickel-to-quarter size stains/blemishes on the box top but the original bright colors are attractive. The 36-count box is accompanied by a near complete box, home to 34 packs and with “34/36” added to the box top in black marker. The die-cut section of the display box is popped, offering a view (when the top is folded into place) of how the box would have originally displayed in a store. The latter is part of our consignor’s fresh-to-the-market hoard of unopened material, with all complete boxes sent to BBCE coming back certified unopened – you need not worry about tampering of the “loose” packs which, by the way, measure approximately 3-1/4” by 5-1/4”. Yet more options for unopened/non-sport card fanatics.
