Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Entering the hockey world at age 5 after receiving a hockey stick as a Christmas present, Guy Lafleur remains the de facto scoring king of the Montreal Canadiens, with his 1,246 points earned in a Habs sweater surely to stand the test of time. This lot offers a great grouping of signed Flower items that includes a Canadiens jersey, 27 photos and 20 pucks, along with a mini stick signed by the Richard brothers and two others. First, the jersey was produced by CCM and sports “L” sizing along with a tackle twill team crest and numbers, with Lafleur signing the reverse “1” in white paint pen, adding a personalization, with the signature blending into the background material somewhat. The 8” x 10” glossy stock modern photos feature three different images, with each signed with a flawless blue sharpie signature, while the 20 matching InGlasCo pucks with Habs crests all feature perfect silver paint pen signatures. The mini stick is 21” in total length and sports “Montreal” with decals in Habs colours, with the brothers both signing in black marker, with two other signatures along with the original recipient’s name handwritten.
