Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

Dressing for clubs in the OHA, CHL and AHL before making his NHL debut with California in 1971-72, Gary Kurt was then chosen by the WHA New York Raiders in their player draft after a single season with the Golden Seals. The Kitchener native would later see a trio of seasons in the rebel league with Phoenix, and we offer a Roadrunners jersey hailing from the first season in Arizona, in 1974-75. A Champion label with “50” sizing is affixed to the collar, with a garter-style fight strap utilized. Styled with a fully embroidered twill team crest, “35” is rubberized to the sleeves and verso along with “Kurt” across the nameplate, with team logos residing on each shoulder. As Kurt never donned the #35 with the Roadrunners, the jersey remains in gorgeous condition, never worn.
