Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

Drafted 10th overall in 1997 by the Vancouver Canucks, Brad Ference was traded before making his NHL debut, and first spent parts of four seasons in Florida before moving on to Phoenix for a pair of seasons. From his second and final season in Arizona, we have a Coyotes jersey worn by Ference with desirable “Glendale Opening Night” crest. Worn for the first game of the new venue now recognized as Gila River Arena on Dec 27, 2003, the jersey has been photo-matched to the Dec 31, 2003 match vs Los Angeles. A label with “58” sizing is affixed to the collar, with embroidered KOHO and NHL crests over the reverse neckline and bottom hem respectively. Styled with the suede and twill team crest that first saw use in 2003, the burgundy tie-neck has been accented with white tackle twill sleeve and verso numbers, with an alternate crest over the left shoulder. The “Glendale Opening Night” patch sits over the inside hem. Exhibiting just very light use, there are a few random marks including over the reverse number. Getty Image #2960917 (Dec 31, 2003) has been matched to the extended white thread at the upper right side of the team crest.
