This desirable collection of pictures was produced by Paul Stuart's Parade Sportive company from 1943 to 1947. Issued on semi-glossy paper stock, each sports an average size of 5” x 8 ½” give or take, with a few larger. This group of 40 includes 21 Montreal Canadiens with HOFers Blake and Bouchard (edge wear with minor water staining), along with Locas, Allen, McMahon, Mageau, Demers, Mosdell, Gauthier, Mantha, Gagnon, Harmon, Riopelle, Raymond, Joannette, Hiller, Benoit, Campeau and Gravelle (corner crease), with an oversized example featuring Durnan, Bouchard and Lamoureux as well as a 1946-47 team photo (slight bend at one side). Also featured are HOF greats Toe Blake, Ted Lindsay, Turk Broda, Edgar Laprade, Harry Lumley (corner creases) and Bill Cowley (clipped corner and an edge tear), along with 6 members of the 1946-47 Allan Cup champion Montreal Royals with LaForce, Casavant, Morin (staining/residue), Bouvrette, Pepin and Edgar Laprade. The collection is concluded with images of Watson, Plamondon, Bastien, Stewart (tear), Karakas, Gladu, Dion, Gaudreault and Mud Bruneteau (corner crease), along with 5 Parade Sportive advertising cards. The majority show just light wear and minor toning unless otherwise noted.
