Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021
This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Highlighted by Finland winning the nation's first Olympic hockey medal, the 1988 Winter Olympics in Calgary featured 12 nations competing for hockey supremacy, with the mighty Soviets claiming gold. Rarely offered, we have a game puck from the tournament signed by netminder Sean Burke. A D2 model produced by General Tire and featuring the smaller screened logo as opposed to the larger crest seen on souvenir examples, Burke has placed a blue marker signature over the logo, with the signature presenting nicely. The puck shows just light wear, with a few minor surface lines running across the logo. An LOA from Classic Auctions will accompany.
