Historical Hockey Memorabilia Auction Fall 2021

Yes, the packs in our title highlight this lot, with a 1978-79 Topps pack leading chronologically and possibly yielding a Mike Bossy rookie card. There are then two ’80-81 Topps wax packs (that’s the year of scratch-off fronts and of Ray Bourque’s RC), three ’84-85 O-Pee-Chee packs (Yzerman, Gilmour, Neely, Chelios and that gang’s rookies are possible) and one OPC pack from ’85-86 (Mario’s RC year). We can tell you that the packs are from our consignor’s extensive collection of unopened material, the complete boxes from which were sent to and certified by unopened specialists at BBCE. We detect no evidence of opening/re-sealing, with the packs being offered as is. Light and not significant handling/wear is to mention with the more valuable examples. Completing the wax pack segment are one ’88-89 OPC pack and two from ’89-90 (they have condition issues), three ’89-90 Topps entries and two ’90-91 OPCs. Foil packs from the early-‘90s are ’90-91 Upper Deck English (3), ’91-92 Upper Deck High Series (6), ’92-93 Upper Deck High Series (7) + one Jumbo Pack and eight miscellaneous (’91-92) packs of Parkhurst (5), OPC Premier (2) and Pro Set Platinum Series 1. Will you be the “one” to decide to bust, trade or sell some or all?
