This lot is closed for bidding. Bidding ended on 10/26/2021
Offering a mixed bag of items highlighted by a 1973 Stanley Cup playoffs press pin and 1970-71 Coca-Cola posters signed by Bobby Hull and Yvan Cournoyer, this lot also contains 1950s Kellogg's plastic hockey players, a pair of boxed puzzles featuring Ken Danby's famous work "At The Crease", and an assorted group of 11 hockey and other sports posters, including a group of 5 "500 goal scorers" lithographs by Ron Lewis. First, the press pin is 2" in length and sports the shape of the Stanley Cup, with an enamel NHL logo and "1973 Stanley Cup Playoffs News". Both reverse fasteners are intact, with light overall wear/oxidation. The plastic players include full red and white teams (five players for each plus a goalie), with no damage to the group. The Coca-Cola posters are 24" x 35", with each signed in marker, with heavy wear to the pair including two large tears to the Cournoyer poster and one large tear to the Hull, with toning present as well as tape/residue to each reverse. The 500 goal scorers lithos are 22 1/2" x 37", with each sporting moderate age/storage wear. The remaining posters include a large approx 24" x 80" Wayne Gretzky Coca-Cola example (light to moderate wear with indentations), a pair of Quebec Nordques posters that appear on photo stock - likely homemade, a Guy Lafluer career poster and a few others, with these in lower technical grade. Lastly, the puzzles are both 1000-count, with an example still sealed in cellophane.
